Easter is one of the most important times for Beachside to gather and we’d love for you to join us as we remember, and celebrate, together.
Each Good Friday we meet at the beach to paddle out in remembrance of Jesus – and the ultimate sacrifice He made for us in dying on the cross.
We’re meeting on the north side of Currumbin Estuary so it’s best to park at Palm Beach Parklands or Palm Beach Currumbin High School and follow the path around Tarrabora Reserve.
You’ll need to BYO board and children are welcome to be involved as long as they are supervised by their parents.
Bring a towel and a jumper to keep you warm as we receive communion together as the sun sets.
On Easter Sunday we gather again at dawn to celebrate Christ’s resurrection and victory over death!
This time we’ll be meeting at Elephant Rock, Currumbin and there’s plenty of street parking along the beach or down toward Currumbin Sanctuary.
We’ll sing together, read scripture and hear a short message before we celebrate the baptisms of some of our family in the ocean.
There’s also delicious free breaky to enjoy while you enjoy the sunrise and reflect on God’s best gift.
On Easter Sunday in the afternoon we’re excited to gather with churches from all over the Gold Coast for Easter United.
